An Iconic Setting for an Iconic Brand
In the grounds of a beautiful private country residence, on a quintessential British summer’s evening, friends of Métier gathered for the evening to celebrate a milestone fifth birthday for the luxury bag-crafter. Amid the tall grass and the setting sun, guests arrived through a red poppy and thyme-carpeted walkway, gathering for cocktails before having dinner served under a Wills canopy.

You would be hard-pressed to find something more British than a Wills marquee – handmade in Yorkshire, crafted lovingly, designed beautifully, and built to last. A Big White Canopy Nestled in the Tall Grass
“We wanted to create different experiences as you moved through the different parts of the evening. We started with cocktails under a giant oak tree with soft lights hidden in the tree. Then we followed a festoon-lit path to the big white canopy nestled in the tall grass. For the table, we selected French bistro chairs against a crisp white tablecloth and big baskets of crudités for a touch of vibrant and bold colour. After dinner, we followed the path into a clearing with fire pits, hay bales topped with Métier cushions, and a maypole decorated in bright, warm colours.”
